Secretary of Research and Technology Department, KIPMI

Farid Fadhillah was born in Bontang, East Kalimantan, Indonesia, on 15th of June 1978. He received the ST (Bachelor) degree in chemical engineering from Gadjah Mada university (GMU), Yogyakarta Indonesia in 2002. He also received MT (master) degree in chemical engineering from the same university in 2005. In 2012, he received his PhD degree in chemical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Shortly after he finished his master degree in 2005, he joined chemical engineering department, Lambung Mangkurat University (UNLAM), Banjarbaru, south Kalimantan, Indonesia. He worked at UNLAM as lecturer for about one and half year before pursuing his PhD at KFUPM in 2007. Shortly, after graduating from KFUPM in 2012, he joined Chemical Engineering Department, Al Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU), Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have been working as an assistant professor until now. His current research interests include thin film coating, membrane separation processes, as well as water and waste water treatment.
